As the lead full-stack developer, I designed and implemented YDO Llama, a student management system tailored to the needs of the Youth Development Organization of Lawrence. Llama securely stores student records, organizes course offerings and schedules, tracks attendance, and facilitates communication. In additon it also offers a Parent Portal, allowing parents to access and update their child’s records. This portal enhances communication, empowering parents to stay engaged with their child’s progress and stay informed about upcoming events, schedules, and critical updates.

Llama also has robust communication features built in, staff members can run targeted text messaging campaigns to parents and students, utilizing enrollment status, schedules, or custom tags to efficiently reach specific groups. Llama provides a streamlined solution for managing student data, ensuring better oversight and engagement for the organization’s educational programs.
