Virtual Reality Mental Rotation Test

Measuring Spatial Abilities

The virtual reality mental rotation test is an ongoing project as part of my research at the MIT STEP Lab. This assessment allows us to measure spatial abilities in virtual reality. This project was built with C# on Unity and it is compatible with most VR headsets and it has been optimized for the Oculus Quest. The application also has extensive data logging which we hope will help researchers capture rich data.

This is an ongoing project so stay tuned for more screenshots, videos, and hopefully a published research paper!
